PlanckDOT, a technology startup specializing in edge data centers, has raised $350,000 in its bridge round at a valuation of $30 million.
Earlier this year, the startup had raised $1.6 million in its seed round from HNI Angel Investors.
The fresh proceeds will be used to ramp up the ongoing development of PlanckDOT’s Quanta AI that caters to the rising demand of data centres for generative AI applications.
Founded by Shishir Miglani and Ali Ahmed Saleem, PlankDot’s Quanta offers a range of fully-loaded, self-sufficient edge data centres tailored to corporate, enterprise, and SPC requirements empowering businesses to scale their operations seamlessly.
The firm specialises in setting up Edge and Hyperscaler data centers that are carbon-neutral and reliable.
PlanckDOT’s initiatives focus on improving the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) ratio in data centres, aiming to achieve a PUE ratio of 1.0.
